My first hashing happened to be in Boise at the tail end of my trip out there. Hashing is running with a little drinking mixed in. And then a lot of drinking at the end. You follow flour stripes along the course and yell “On On” when you find a stripe so everyone can follow you. Eventually people get nicknames that are quite filthy and also quite funny.

Opening blessing for new hashers. They poured beer on our shoes and threw flour on us.
