Marathon

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Ahh the Portland Marathon. 26.2 miles of torture through Portland’s streets. It was fun to see some of my friends run, as well as hand out beverages at mile 23.

Caitlin, my teammate from HTC and captain of Ragnar is in there somewhere. This was mile 6 at arounf 7:30AM. It was only 3 blocks from my house, so I figured the least I could do was get up and watch them.

On my way to the eastside to watch them at mile 23. Before this, I went home and sat on the couch for an hour while they kept running.

Happy to be handing out and not running...but they do inspire you to want to go out and do it.

This guy was an animal. Run 23 miles. Do a keg stand. Run 3.2 miles.

Why the big smile? Perhaps becasue shes done running. But also becasue she qualified for the BOSTON MARATHON!

Why the big smile? Perhaps because she's done running. But also because she qualified for the BOSTON MARATHON!

After some long thought about long running I’m announcing that I want to run a marathon in 2010. So if your reading this, be sure to bug me to keep running. Lots.
