Fish On!

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

What a way to start out 2010!  I went with my friend Jeremy out on the Willamette in search of monster sturgeon.  We went bellow the Sellwood bridge and got into ‘em.

Running Red

OH3 Annual Red Dress Hash in Portland. It was incredible.

Shopping for a dress. I almost bought this bit it was a hundred bucks.

Sewing stretchy straps into my red dress to make it fit. You know how hard it is to find a dress that will fit a guy thats 67? Well, not as hard as finding a dress for Whiskey.

Airshow 2009!

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Does it get any more ‘merican than the air show?  Nope.  We ate huge burgers, drank some domestic comflague can beers and had a blast.

Take a good look at the shirt. Gordon likes fast jets, fast women and fast food.

Frank Peters

Friday, February 6th, 2009

Wow.  This guy makes my top ten list for all time bad ass Oregonians.  ”A vote for Frank Peters is a vote for America” was his line for his governor campaign in the 80’s.  Unfortunately he didn’t win….

Glide, Oregon

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

This is Glide, Oregon.  It’s a pretty dinky little town 20 miles east of Roseburg in Southern Oregon.  It happens to be where Kara is from, and she gave me the grand tour.Glide is located at 43°19′9″N 123°4′1″W (43.319078, -123.066926)

These are the Colliding Rivers.  There are few spots in the world where 2 rivers smash into each other.  Pretty cool.  The rivers that collide are the North Umpqua River and the Little River.

In '97 the water came all the way up to the line between Viewpoint and Umpqua. Woa!

This is up another river. I guess jackass's in intertubes get into trouble here.

Girl and I. Cold!

I guess the dump if free in Glide, so these heathens have no excuse. Expect tweak. If thats an excuse.

Sorry for the blurry photo. I had to be quick to avoid getting shot at. Note the 2 broken down BBQ's and tattered flag stuck to the roof.

Sally loved the snow, and her brief freedom out front of the house!

Power out 2 days before christmas! It lasted until 4PM christmas day, so we had the big din din at Kyle's.

After the power was out, the back window went out via the Quad.

Night Match 2008

Monday, December 15th, 2008

What a blast(haha)!  An arctic blast(haha!) came in on Saturday for the annual night match.  It made it cold.

We shot 4 stages and my light decided to die in the middle of the last stage.  Nevertheless I got 5th place overall and was happy with my performance.
